Another Hero
The hero in Borderlands the pre-sequel is Jack or that's what they want you to think. If you have played Borderlands 2 you will know that there is only one person who believes Jack is a hero and that is himself. The pre-sequel is the story of how he became this corrupted leader of Hyperion. In the begging Jack does seem to be the hero. He calls on four people to help him free the Hyperion moon satellite from the Last Legion bandit group overrunning it. He even leaves his life in your hands when he launches you out of a cannon at over thousand miles a hour onto the moon. Of course this is more of him chickening out of the trip and believing it is actually safer on the satellite. As the story progresses the dark side of Jack starts to come out. As he starts to kill more people who get in his way and just people who annoy him. The true turning point one could say would be when he decides to wipe the memory of a once human machine. He is given the option of waiting a day, but does not believe there is enough time. This again points to his own greed and only caring about his own life. In the end his greed hurts him more than it helps since he ends up scaring himself physically and mentally with the thing that he was trying to save everyone with.
