Twitter Trump and Ad Hominems

We all know by now, Donald Trump isn't the smartest poster on social media. This was directed to Ben Carson, another republican politician running to be the republican candidate for presidency. This imagine shows a very noticeable Ad Hominem. In this post, Trump was trying to show his frustration with Ben Carson leading the polls in Iowa and so he relates bring the people of Iowa into the conversation to make his point. Doesn't really make sense does it? He tries to to say they are all laced up on Monsanto in corn. Monsanto is a company that is based on rebuilding agriculture and strengthening the farming community and Iowa is known for is strong farming industries. This all is laced together because an Ad Hominem is used to strike down your opponent but not really relating it to them itself.
