Republican Debate Live Blog #3 John Kasich's Use of Ethos
At the end of John Kasich's response for his plans to significantly cut federal spending, he states that being the governor of Ohio comes with real challenges. He then says that he has been successful at balancing budgets and cutting taxes in Ohio, which has resulted in an environment for job creation. He uses ethos to establish his experience with the topic and to let the viewers know that he is capable of helping America the same way he has helped Ohio.

I like how he admitted that being the governor was challenging for him. I think he also appealed to logos by giving factual evidence regarding his time as governor. Good insight and nice post.
