Carson Uses His Own Stories to Appeal to Pathos

Ben Carson is asked about the minimum wage, and he is able to apply his own life stories in order to explain how he would not raise the minimum wage. He talks about how great it was when he used to work in a lab, and how more opportunities like this need to be created, however the minimum wage does not need to be raised. By using his own life story to make a point, Carson is appealing to pathos.
