Fiorina's Tone Calms the Stage

In the midst of an argument between her male competitors, Carly Fiorina interjected and effectively stole the stage. Strangely enough, however, her tone of voice was considerably more passive than those of her competitors. Her use of a calming tone effectively allowed her to take control of the argument and get her opinion out in the open.
