The quick but influential video ended with a black screen with the words, "Is this the president we want for our daughters?" Leaving the viewers with this message most definitely connects with the rhetoric pathos, as it leaves you with a strong emotion of love and fear for your own daughter. It truly makes the ad all that more personal and makes us think, is this what we want?
Considering in the beginning there is a 2 second clip of a young teen hugging Hillary with the biggest smile on her face yet there isn't even smirk on any of the other girls looking at themselves, she makes the distinction between the two oh so apparent. She want the people of America to know who Trump really is and what he stands for. Seeing that 50.8% of the United States are females, why should we let a man who thinks of women this way have any sort of power over us?
Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump have both taken huge hits from one another when it comes to the advertisements they've put out there for the world to see. Mirrors addresses something a tad more personal to which so many of us can relate.
