When assigned the project, I initially had
some reservations. However I found the creative process of planning and filming
to be quite enjoyable. This project allowed each group to interpret the book as
they pleased. The creative freedom given in the assignment presented numerous
options. In my opinion this project was much less stressful than normal
literary analysis assignments. While it required a lot of work, the time spent
creating it did not seem like work at all. The opportunity to work in groups
also gave plenty of insight into other people's interpretations of the text,
which I found to be genuinely interesting. I believe this assignment was not
only quite enjoyable, but also served as a creative platform for many.
I agree with your post. I was nervous about the project as well, but it ended up turning out great and was a lot of fun creating. I agree that this assignment was extremely productive and helped me get a better understanding of the themes in the book.
